#### AFC Europe, an AFC Industries company, has further expanded its European footprint and operations by acquiring Verucon Fasteners and Logistics GmbH.
Located in Gotha, Germany, Verucon has established a market leading position as a specialist supplier of fasteners and services to a wide variety of manufacturing sectors throughout Germany and other markets worldwide. Including specialist CNC machining capabilities, this brings a valuable extension to AFC’s own capabilities in region and compliments AFCs already strong position in Europe as a leading supplier of Vendor Managed Inventory services for C-Parts with various high precision product solutions, such as Smalley Wave Springs and an extensive portfolio of Seals & O-Rings.
Commenting on the acquisition, Morgan Burgoyne, President AFC Europe, said, “The manufacturing and supply management capabilities of Verucon are a great fit for AFC and add to our already extensive offering to manufacturers throughout Europe.”
Services include Kanban management of C-Parts, kitting and sourcing. Speaking about becoming part of AFC Europe, Wolfgang Prill, Managing Director of Verucon commented, “Since establishing our business in 2010, we have grown our capabilities and support many different manufacturing sectors with supply of C-Parts, adding kitting and Kanban Management to the range of services that add value to our customers. Joining AFC and AFC Industries enables us to further develop these capabilities and continue our mission to be a valuable support to European manufacturing for the future.”
AFC Europe is an AFC Industries company, which is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, specialising in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), custom-engineered components, and value-added services. With a strong commitment to streamlining operations and reducing total cost of ownership, AFC partners with manufacturers and assemblers across a wide range of industries, serving them from over 100 locations in 8 countries worldwide. In Europe, AFC locations extend to UK, Germany and Czech Republic serving customers across the continent and beyond.
