Die Rotary Union profitiert von drei Smalley-Produkten zur Leistungssteigerung. Der Verbindungsquerschnitt der Wellenfeder ermöglicht den Einbau in die Baugruppe, ohne dass die passenden Komponenten beeinträchtigt werden. Die Wellenfeder mit einer Windung nimmt Spiel auf und reduziert Vibrationen in einer Lagervorspannkapazität. Die Kraft der Crest-to-Crest-Wellenfeder trägt beim Zusammendrücken dazu bei, eine Dichtung zu schaffen, die verhindert, dass Flüssigkeit von der Hochdruck- zur Niederdruckseite der Verbindung fließt. Der Spirolox-Ring mit zwei Windungen nutzt seinen einheitlichen Querschnitt, um eine vollständige 360-Grad-Halterung des Lagers und seiner Gegenprodukte im Gehäuse zu bieten. Für Wartungszwecke leicht entfernbar, ohne dass Spezialwerkzeuge erforderlich sind.
