Diese Woche beantwortet Justin Lawrence, einer unserer leitenden Konstruktionsingenieure, einige Fragen zu austauschbaren Sicherungsringen und Lagermaterialien von Smalley. **Was sind die Unterschiede zwischen einem Spirolox-Sicherungsring mit einer RR/RS-Teilenummer und einer Smalley WH/WS-Teilenummer? Sind sie austauschbar?** Dies ist eine sehr häufige Frage, die uns von Kunden gestellt wird, die mit den von Spirolox hergestellten Originalteilen vertraut sind. Ich kann ihnen versichern, dass sie direkt mit den Smalley-Produkten austauschbar sind. Smalley erwarb Spirolox im Jahr 2007, stellt jedoch seit über 50 Jahren spiralförmige Sicherungsringe her. Wir liefern Ringe der Spirolox-Serie für Automobil-, Medizin- und Luft- und Raumfahrtanwendungen, und mehrere dieser Sortimente passen zu anerkannten imperialen und DIN-Normspezifikationen für Sicherungsringnuten. Es gibt andere Smalley- und Spirolox-Teilenummern, die untereinander austauschbar sind. Unsere Standard-Wellenfedern sind in Kohlenstoffstahl und 17-7 PH-Edelstahl erhältlich. Spirolox-Ringe sind in Kohlenstoffstahl, Edelstahl 302 und 316 erhältlich, während die Sprengringe und Reifen in Kohlenstoffstahl und Edelstahl 302 angeboten werden. Da Smalley jedoch die Drahtverarbeitung direkt kontrolliert, können wir diese Produkte auch in exotischen Legierungen wie Inconel X-750, Elgiloy, Super Duplex und mehreren anderen Spezialmaterialien anbieten.
