In dieser Ausgabe beantwortet Produktmanager Simon Ward einige Fragen zu Sicherungsringen (Pirolox-Ringe und Laminar Seal-Ringe). Spielt bei der Installation Ihrer Sicherungsringe die Ausrichtung oder Belastungsrichtung eine Rolle? Die Smalley Spirolox-Sicherungsringe von TFC werden durch Kantenwickeln eines Flachdrahts mit einheitlichem Querschnitt hergestellt, d. h. es gibt keine richtige oder falsche Seite, wie dies bei einigen gestanzten Sprengringen der Fall wäre. Daher haben die Ausrichtung des Rings während der Montage und die Belastungsrichtung innerhalb der Baugruppe keinen Einfluss auf die Leistung.
