Diese Woche beantwortet Justin Lawrence einige weitere Fragen zum Design von Sicherungsringen und dazu, wie sichergestellt werden kann, dass die Nutgeometrie korrekt angegeben wird. **Wie wichtig ist die Rillengeometrie?** Um eine maximale Belastbarkeit zu gewährleisten, ist es wichtig, dass die Nut rechtwinklige Ecken hat und der Boden der Nut einen korrekt spezifizierten Radius hat. Der maximal empfohlene Nuteckenradius für einen Sicherungsring mit einem Durchmesser bis einschließlich 25 mm beträgt 0,10 mm. Bei Sicherungsringen mit einem Durchmesser von mehr als 25 mm kann der Rillenradius auf 0,25 mm (max.) zunehmen. ![press stud](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png "press stud") **Können Sie eine Faustregel angeben, wie viel Abstand zwischen dem Ende eines Stifts/einer Bohrung und der Nut sein sollte?** Als Faustregel gilt für den Randabstand bzw. den Abstand vom Ende des Bolzens (bzw. Gehäuses) bis zur Nutwand etwa das 3-fache der Nuttiefe. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass genügend Material vorhanden ist, um die Belastung des Halterings zu tragen. In all diesen Fällen kann eine besondere Anforderung zu berücksichtigen sein.
