IATF 16949 certification takes a new approach to ensuring quality for our customers, states Blanca Gerue, Smalley™s Quality Systems Manager. With the implementation of an Automotive Quality Management System (AQMS), we audit the entire manufacturing process, focusing on continuous improvements and defect prevention. We look not only internally, but at the entire supply chain to reduce waste and variation, states Gerue.
